BidonMe is a creator marketplace built around pre-release bidding. Creators publish proposed media and audiences allocate bid credit towards it before the content is produced and released.
Projects use two milestones covering creation and release. Bid credit is captured and allocated to the project, with successful bidders retaining access to the released content. Users who did not participate in the bid can access released media through a one-time pay-per-view purchase, while trailers remain free.
Creator payouts are structured around delivery. The creator receives 80% after the content has been delivered and passed moderation, while failed delivery results in a full refund to bidders.
The product also includes age-verification, moderation and reporting requirements as part of its platform controls. bidme.link is used for short links alongside the primary bidonme.app domain.
