HomeApp is a shared home-management dashboard designed primarily for a wall-mounted, full-screen tablet. It brings recurring household information and tasks into a swipeable modular interface, with mobile access for functions that need to be used away from the main display.
The platform includes a shared calendar, shopping list and household inventory. Inventory records distinguish between items, products and brands, support barcode entry and can feed low-stock items into the shopping workflow.
Additional modules include weather by city or region and a household photo reel that can operate as a screensaver. Users can upload photos from mobile devices and configure the dashboard around the modules they use.
Household data is shared between signed-in users, with support for user and administrator roles. The application is built with React and Vite on Appwrite, using Appwrite for authentication, database, storage and functions.
